The purpose of this assignment was to assess the performance of DFID largest governance intervention program in Nepal which was implemented from 1998 to 2013 in Nepal. The study explored lesson learning from the longest governance intervention in Nepal and its contribution to the governance reform in Nepal. Both primary and secondary data were collected during the evaluation. The finding of this study has been used widely disseminated in Nepal and abroad by DFID UK. FDM’s document has been a regular reference document for the design of governance related program by DFID in Nepal and other countries.
